🧪 Demo book — invented positions, live prices. The tracker is a private workspace on a public site, so a visitor sees exactly how it works and never anyone's real holdings. The entries and dates are made up; the prices, sector and relative-strength reads beside them are the real tape. Owner? Unlock your books →

Each name here matches a pattern the tape can see right now — a fresh DVPT trigger, accumulation sitting near the institutional key price, or a relative-strength leader. It is a description of today's tape, not advice and not a target.

12 model books, 8 with a reconstructed record and 4 without. Only the recorded ones carry figures.

Model books are the engine's portfolios — reconstructed, never hand-edited. They live in Strategies; the Tracker is where you follow one and measure your result against it.

₹10,00,000
round-trip cost per trade0.89%clip is 0.05% of a day's volume
How cost is charged, and what changed on 12 August the correction notice and the cost method, in full
Corrected on 12 August 2026 — these returns went up, and at large amounts the order changed. Each trade was being charged for twice. It is now charged once, so every book's return here is higher than it was: barely for slow books (+0.1 percentage points a year at ₹10 lakh), a lot for fast ones (+11.7 a year at ₹50 crore). Because the fast books gained the most, the ranking at large amounts is not the one you saw before — though the book at the top of it has not changed. The book turned over column changes too: it now counts positions replaced, which is what turnover normally means, so every turnover figure here is now half what it was. That is the same trading, counted the usual way. No strategy changed, and no book's standing changed.

Costed from each book's own recorded churn — a book that rebalances 171 times pays 171 times — plus spread, brokerage, STT, GST and stamp duty, plus market impact sized against the amount above. One volatility and one daily traded value are assumed for every holding. At personal amounts that barely bites: vary both assumptions across a wide range and the order of this table does not move, so there the ordering is the sturdier half and the level is the soft one. At institutional amounts it bites hard and both the level and the order move. And the ordering was itself wrong until 12 August 2026, as the note above says — which is the strongest reason there is not to read a ranking as a verdict. Cost is charged against the book at the start of each year and subtracted from the return, not compounded off the grown value — the two conventions differ by about 0.6% a year at a 20% return, and the “would be worth” column compounds that difference. Reconstructed history, not a broker account.

Books the engine admitted

Admitted on measured evidence: superior return/volatility and clearing the Nifty-500 hurdle. Ranked by what each returned net of cost at the amount above.

At ₹10 L the top row is SPRINTER-25 — a gross-lens demonstration, not a book the engine admitted: the rule is real, but its returns are an upper bound. Admission was judged at institutional size, so leading here is not an endorsement.

Famous public strategies — the control group

The same engine, the same window, the same costs. Most do not clear the bar — that is the finding rather than a defect, and it is what makes the table above mean anything.

Follow a book into one of your own

Your entry is TODAY, at today's prices. The model's reconstructed history is the model's, not your book's — which is the point of measuring your result against it rather than inheriting its record. A book that already holds open positions is refused rather than merged into.

The chip on each row is that book's standing against real trading costs, and it has three states, not two. Fundable core means the book still stands up once costs are paid. Gross-lens demonstration means the rule is real but the returns are an upper bound. Not assessed for cost means exactly that — nobody has costed that reconstruction, so no verdict is claimed either way; it is not a quiet pass and not a quiet fail. Following a book copies its CURRENT holdings into a new named book using today's date and today's close as your entry. The engine keeps its own record; your book measures your adoption. That is why the two numbers will differ, and why both are honest. vs Nifty 500 is this book's CAGR minus the benchmark's over the same window; a book with under five years of history shows no numbers at all, because that is not yet a record.

Reconstructed book performance is past data, not a promise.
