Patearn shows you where real money actually moved in Indian equities — and shows its working.
Delivery measured in rupees, not share counts. Ownership filings as they land. Short interest, band-locks and surveillance states. Every name carries its evidence, its source, and the record of where our own method has been wrong.
The pages below are open to read. If you want the work delivered: a seat is ₹19,999 a year, or ₹9,999 once for the first 100 →
Who it is for
The investor who already pays for a screener, does their own bottom-up work on twenty to sixty companies, and has run out of things fundamentals screening can tell them.
Look at it first — the data is open
No signup, no card, nothing to install. These are the live pages, with today’s data.
- What a scan’s backtest hidesChartink’s own public golden-cross scan, run three ways on our archive: the way a scanner reports it, the way the market actually was, and after trading costs. The reported number is 63% higher than what was left — and costs, not vanished companies, are about 71% of that gap.
- What we got wrongSeven claims we published and then took back, each with what it cost us and the rule it produced. Two of them are corrections of corrections.
- What being wrong costs4,586 resolved outcomes in the dated 2026-08-27 study over nifty500, under the corrected rule. The top 1% carry 31.7% of positive R. The linked page compares this cohort with the earlier rule; this is a published study of a refuted rule set, not a live performance figure.
- Known limitsEight things this site does not do, each quoted from our own negative results: most strategies here have never been re-run under realistic trading costs, the one factor that survived our own study is beta rather than skill, and the ratio we report is not a Sharpe and reads high against one.
- Results War RoomWho just reported, whether the move that followed was backed by delivery money, and what the population base rate was.
- ScansThe questions you already ask, counted on today’s tape: at a 52-week high, delivery shocker, volume dry-up.
- The ReplayAny company, any past date, showing only what was knowable that day. This is the one that tells you whether to believe the rest.
- Coverage & provenanceWhich feed each number came from, how fresh it is, and where the coverage stops.
- Every term, definedIf a column name is not explained somewhere on the site, that is a bug.
What we charge for
The analysis. Scores, rankings, relative strength, rotation, patterns, the screener’s sortable columns — every number we produced rather than mirrored. The data stays free; what we did with it does not.
The record of where our method has been wrong stays free too. You should be able to check our working before you pay for our judgement.
What this will never be
No tips. No target prices. No model portfolios. We publish descriptive evidence and the base rates behind it, including the studies where our own method failed. That record is the product. If you want somebody to tell you what to purchase, we are the wrong desk and will say so.
What a seat costs
Both are the same work. The difference is the terms: a founder seat is paid once, never renews, and is never repriced.
The pages above stay open. A seat is for people who want the work to keep going and want it delivered:
- The weekly evidence briefWhat moved on real money this week, what filed, and the base rate behind it — written and signed by a person, not generated and sent.
- A direct lineAsk why a number is what it is and get an answer from whoever built it.
- This rate, keptA founder seat is ₹9,999 once and stays ₹9,999 — roughly half of one year at the standard ₹19,999, and then nothing further, for as long as you keep it. Capped at 100 seats; none taken yet.
Invoiced directly. There is no checkout hurrying you.
